Evangelidis took to social media to address the inaccurate reports, stating 'We are not shutting down any markets' and that 'inaccurate reports are being circulated'. The executive also disputed the claim that Nothing's Phone (4b) had sold only 20,000 units globally since its launch, insisting that the device actually sold 29,537 units on its debut day, setting a record in its price segment.

While acknowledging that the company is reorganizing its teams to prepare for its next phase of growth, Evangelidis argued that reports about the scale of job cuts are 'way overblown'. Due to ongoing regulatory requirements, Nothing still cannot disclose the exact numbers of employees affected by the restructuring at this time.

Evangelidis also addressed the human side of the restructuring, assuring that decisions impacting employees' livelihoods are never made lightly and that Nothing is committed to supporting those impacted during the transition.
